JET SET ODORI DANCE HALL PARTY - Taking music requests too!! Hi there! I'm the Great Pioneer O-Taku, and I will be the host for this party! A room party that was canned due to financial restrains and a virgin experience to Anime Conventions at this year's Anime Detour, we are proud to announce the official and uninterrupted self proclaimed room party event OF THE YEAR!!! >w< I'm so happy to know that I can finally get this party underway and prepared for a super ultra awesome night, filled with delights and enjoyment and a plethora of ultra geek pro entertainment to show everybody a great luxurious time and indulge in partying the night away without stooping to the norm! The JET SET ODORI DANCE HALL ROOM PARTY!! Not just only a room party, but it is also a BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! Not only will there be catering and alcohol, but there will also be select dance tracks featured from all over the known catalog and lexicon of Japanese Video games and Anime!! A place to get down and jam, or to have a quick get together before you all head out to the main rave, the Jet Set Odori Dance Hall Party will attempt to turn Animinneapolis at night into ONE BIG DANCE PARTY!!!

Tell your friends, your sisters, your brothers, and your mothers too, because this party will take the limits beyond the known average house party!! Let's nerd out and lathe in Otaku ecstasy! To Stick it to the man! To flow souls in the conscious stream that Fantasy helps inspire us to shape our reality! To groove away to beats and song beyond what fools who limit themselves to the charts can't imagine! To dance and invigorate our spirits with nostalgia and fuel hope to shape the future!! JET SET ODORI A GO GO BABY!!

Importantly, while I do have a lot of music to play, I would also be glad to take requests for songs to play during the party. What's recommended? Let's see here... *Dance tracks, of course! Anything with a good groovable beat and flow! *Anime themes! This is an anime convention you know! Let's get lost in our appreciation and bust a move! *Video Game tracks! Come on, video games go with anime like bread and butter! Japanese or vivacious game tracks are most appreciated!! *Remixes! Fan derivative songs of anime, video game, or even meme related songs is what will help this party out!! (For sanity purposes, please, no Rick Roll.) *Anything related to anime and video games! Jpop! Techno! House! US Pop! UK Pop! Let's jumpstart the heart of the party and dance to the pulse of fantasy!! Conditions? I have plenty. *Please show a link so that I can sample what you want! *If the track is hard to get, let me know of some sources online! If it has to be directly imported or sent through the mail, that's gonna be a maybe! *As a reminder, some songs might not make it to the selection. Don't take this personally. I have plenty of tracks far and wide in my playlist itself, but I wanna know what you all want to listen and dance to too! We'll keep all of you updated of this spectacle dance party phenom! Ladies and Gentlemen! Attendees and awesome people of Animinneapolis, I want to personally say that I had a GREAT time this year at Animinne and you have all BEEN SO AWESOME!!

This is my first room party, and I did run into technical difficulties, as well as experience some at con handicaps, you know, like moving beds and stuff (seriously, Ramada, I'd expect more from you being near the MoA and stuff!), but I can't wait for next year's convention and especially Anime Detour!! :3 I'll be ready at the Doubletree for whatever comes my way, and I know Jet Set Odori will come back BIGGER and BETTER!

In the meanwhile, I'm getting to planning out the next party, as well as take over the world I mean being a geek who loves creating his own series and learning stuff.
