I had earlier thought of an idea that, in all honesty, really didn't think would work. But it was clever, so I asked, and it wouldn't work. Since people liked my mask last year, one even asking me to make one for them, I thought maybe I should take requests and sell them at AniMinneapolis. I figured maybe I would cosplay as the Happy Mask Salesman occasionally and sell them as I walked around. But AniMinneapolis pointed out that this might clog the hallways, and I think it's kind of a sleezy way to dodge getting a booth and keeping money away from AniMinneapolis, which they deserve to keep it going. So, another thought came up. What if I shared a booth with someone? Or even multiple people? We could design the booth to be basic, and then it would easily change from owner to owner. (I'm thinking PVC frames, and each salesperson has their own banners and stuff to hang on it. That way, you don't have to pay as much in case you are worried your stuff won't sell (Like my crappy masks), and you don't have to man the store at all times. I think this could be really cool, but I only know two people that are going, and I don't think they have anything they would want to try and sell. So I thought I would gauge the interest here and see if that might be something worth trying? I'm not really sure how to make custom masks for people without spending the whole night working on them in a rush. I'm staying at the hotel this time, because I wanted to see the rave and other late night activities. So, let me know what you think. I know it'll be a chore switching the store over again and again, but I think it can also be fun. :)
