cash credit or both?

this is my first con as well so I have no idea what to expect. so my question is what is the best thing to carry around with to buy things while there a lot of cash just a card or a mix of both?

Artists will mostly be cash only, vendors and dealers will be half and half cash or credit. You NEED ID other than your badge for credit. If you're worried about losing cash, you can find some thin fanny pack type things that go around your waist under clothes.
